this is me.
i used to think i was going to be a doctor.
blame it on my horribly low grades in math and science courses when i was in college. in the end, i became a lawyer.
now, when i first writing a blog, i was in law school, stressed with working and studying at the same time, and was in a crazy relationship. i envisioned myself as a carrie (of SATC) and wrote about heartaches, and shoes, and what nots. the blog universe grew and became specialized, and i remained the naive blogger writing about her life and loves (or lack of it).
after all, while i did love to travel, i never envisioned myself as the travel blogger.
and while i loved to eat, i never saw myself as a food blogger either.
and no way was I going to be a fashion blogger, even if i did love shoes, and clothes, and bags.
so if i were going to start a new blog, what am i supposed to write about?
hmmm...
i do love cooking ...
and hosting parties.
somehow, over the past year, i've turned into this domestic diva my mom won't even recognize ...
the kind who spends hours finding the perfect lamp for her home and saturday afternoons organizing her laundry room.
and it hit me. this blog, this new home, is going to be about me becoming martha stewart.
i do adore her - she seems like she can do anything! so becoming martha stewart isn't such a bad goal to have.
i just hope i don't go to jail. ☺
